Reverie Projects is a collective of artists and designers devoted to establishing a relationship between the contemporary art community and the Villa Alba Museum, the historic 19th Century house in Kew, Melbourne. Since 2009, we have been working with the Museum to foster this relationship through a series
of exhibitions that invite artists to creatively respond to the house and its history.
Reverie Projects was formed out of a desire to introduce the house to new generations of artists and ensure continued support for the museum. Through our exhibitions we aim to promote the house and the efforts of the Board of Villa Alba Museum Inc. and it’s volunteers. Because the Board relies on
public donation and grant applications alone, it is vital that they continue to be supported. Without the continued dedication of the Board we would lose this historic national treasure.
